As a designer, I draw inspiration from all kinds of places. I have a mountainous list of video games to play and learn from! I also incorporate design lessons I have taken from other experiences, such as:

• Practical design and architecture skills (from making cosplay and theater sets)

• Player psychology (from writing and running live action roleplaying games)

• Mechanics and systems (from board games and tabletop rpgs)

• Creative writing (from a lifelong love of short stories)
